Meet the Staff

Owner and CEO:

M. Francesca Ramirez

Francesca graduated from The Ohio State University in 2000 with a degree in psychology and in 2004 she received her Masters in Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, TX. She has worked with non-profit organizations and school districts for the last eleven years. Her background in social work has led her to work with abused children, assisting pregnant/parenting teens to stay in high school and graduate, facilitate parenting groups, counseling with individuals and families, and assisting adults successfully transition from obtaining their GED to enrolling in community college.

Francesca has lived in Austin since 2000 and in her free time, she enjoys traveling and is the primary planner of activities when going on trips with friends and family. During a trip to Seattle, she and her family enjoyed a wine tour through Woodinville. She had a passion for running her own business for many years, but could never quite decide on what the business would be until she took that wine tour. After talking through some ideas and receiving much support from her family and friends, she decided to take the plunge and start her own touring business around the Central Texas Hill Country.

From Francesca’s passion to begin her own business, L’Avventura Dolce…The Sweet Adventure was formed in early 2011. It is her hope that each individual truly experiences the sweet adventure as they tour the wineries and olive orchard of the Central Texas Hill Country and in addition have the opportunity to sample some of the local food and drinks that Austinites have grown to love such as The Salt Lick, Sweet Leaf Tea, and Tiff’s Treats.
